My name is Alyona, I am 14 years old. I study in the 7th grade at the school “Hope” in Ivanovka. This year my life has changed a lot and I want to tell you about it. At our school, we often hear about God in Bible classes, meetings with our spiritual coordinators, and summer camps. We hear about the right way to live and act. But only few of us apply it to our lives. For example, I was such a person until recently.

It all started when a friend of mine invited me to church for the Feast of the Harvest.It was awesome!I loved the church and started going regularly with my friend to the youth meetings.We had a great time there: we played games, drank tea, and socialized.After a while I began to notice that my church friends were different from my regular friends.And I also wanted to change within myself, and I began to think about why this was happening.I started attending Sunday services at church. At school I began to ask more questions to our spiritual coordinators, to think about all these things.

I realized that Jesus is the key. I could know how to live right, but not live that way. Those are two big differences. And only Jesus revealed to me that I needed to become different and He was willing to help me do it. I let Him into my heart, and I repented. From that moment on, a big change happened in me, I stopped being angry, irritable, rude. I really like to read the Bible and other Christian books. I try to become a better person for God and He helps me a lot. Thank you to our school and spiritual coordinators for leading us to God. Only sometimes we resist it ourselves.
