Tilek`s Story:

Tilek is a kind and calm boy who enjoys playing ball and taking part in outdoor games with his peers. He is friendly by nature and feels happiest when he can move, play, and spend time with other children.

Tilek has a mild intellectual disability and experiences difficulties with speech and memory. He attends a boarding school, where he receives educational and corrective support. With additional assistance, Tilek will be able to participate in extra lessons, strengthen his learning abilities, and benefit from corrective activities that support his overall development.

Tilek lives in a single-parent family with his mother, older sister, and two older brothers. His father passed away in 2016 due to hypothermia. His mother works seasonally and does not have a permanent job. His older sister works as a kitchen assistant in a café, and one of his brothers works part-time as a waiter. The family lives in a relative’s two-room house, where Tilek does not have his own room. The house has running water, an outdoor toilet, and access to a bathhouse. They also grow vegetables on a small plot for their own use.
