Valentina`s Story:
Valentina lives with her mother, grandmother, and younger brother. Her father left the family when she was very young and does not participate in her life or upbringing. Her mother works as a general laborer in the city heating department, while her grandmother, despite being retired, works as a cleaner at the local school to support the family. Their income is very low, and the family lives in a two-room apartment owned by relatives. Valentina does not have her own room and shares living space with her family. The apartment has water, a toilet, and a bathroom, which helps with daily care.
Valentina has mild intellectual disability. Despite her challenges, she is calm, gentle, and somewhat slow-paced. She rarely gets into conflicts and prefers to stay close to familiar people. In her free time, she enjoys watching cartoons and playing with friends. Attending a boarding school helps her develop necessary skills, gain confidence, and receive support in her studies. Participation in the sponsorship program enhances her opportunities for learning and development.
