My story of hope
The following is a testimony of Gulmira, teacher from Ivanoka Hope School.

Testimony| September 2025 |Ivanovka School
My name is Gulmira. For three years now, I have been working as a teacher at the Hope School in the village of Ivanovka. During this time, I have found unity of spirit and support from the administration and teaching staff. I would particularly like to mention the moral and spiritual support I have received from Diana, our spiritual coordinator.
I came to work here at a difficult time for me—a period of inner loss and disappointment. Thanks to the attentive attitude, humanity, and faith of the coordinators, I was able to find strength and gain self-confidence.
Gradually, step by step, participating in regular spiritual meetings, I learned to see that there is always a way out of any “maze” of life's routine. Creative activities, discussions, and communication on biblical topics helped me open my heart to faith and hope.
I gained a lot from the coordinators: new knowledge, support in difficult moments, and most importantly, the understanding that God is always near. Although I am a Muslim, I realize that God is one, and I have learned to turn to Him not only when times are hard, but every day.
The prayers of the spiritual coordinators have often been a source of strength for me. I myself experienced healing through their prayers, saw how prayer helped my son, who was depressed after the loss of his son, and how God supported him in difficult health situations.
I would especially like to mention the unforgettable time I had at the "Build and Shine!" summer camp. It was a time when staff and teachers from all the MCCF`s projects came to Lake Issyk Kul to rest, recharge, an
d unite with God. For me, it was a time of spiritual healing and seeking God. Through contemplating nature, resting, and communicating with believers, I received inner purification and peace in my heart.
Today, I can say with confidence that everything I experienced here has changed me. I have become calmer, stronger, and have learned to trust God. Even my children are surprised by the peace in my heart.
Thank you for supporting the school and our coordinators. Thanks to you, we receive not only an education, but also faith and a foundation for life that helps us cope with difficulties.
