This summer became truly unforgettable for everyone who took part in the Christian Camp organized by Mercy Foundation on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kol. From July 2 to 11, the camp brought together children, teenagers, teachers, and project staff in three different sessions — each filled with joy, meaningful conversations, and life-changing encounters with God.
The purpose of the camp was clear: to share the Gospel with children and staff in an atmosphere of joy, fun, spiritual mentorship, and genuine personal connection. We wanted each day to combine physical activities with moments of spiritual growth — creating memories and lessons that would last far beyond the camp itself.
In total, 140 children took part in the program, supported by 60 staff members. Behind the scenes, a core organizing team of over 20 people worked tirelessly to make every detail run smoothly, while spiritual coordinators served as team leaders, guiding participants not only through activities but also in their walk with God.
At the heart of all teachings and seminars was the inspiring story of the biblical figure Daniel. His faithfulness, courage, and spiritual strength became the foundation for exploring timeless biblical principles — values that remain relevant for every generation.
First Session (July 2–5) — CHILDREN
The first to arrive were the children. Their days were filled with bright games, creative workshops, and joyful songs. Morning exercises brought energy to start the day, while evening prayers and heartfelt singing united everyone around the campfire. Loving mentors shared God’s Word in simple but powerful ways, helping each child feel part of God’s big family. We believe that seeds of truth were planted in their hearts to bear fruit in the future.
Second Session (July 5–8) — TEENAGERS
The teenage session brought together young people searching for answers — and they left with inspiration, clarity, and new goals. Through deep thematic sessions, sports competitions, late-night talks, and prayer gatherings, they discovered what real freedom, responsibility, and living faith look like. Special evenings of worship became unforgettable moments of personal encounter with God for many.
Third Session (July 8–11) — TEACHERS & STAFF
The final session gathered teachers and staff who serve children throughout the school year. Away from their usual responsibilities, they found time to rest, reflect, and renew their calling. Workshops, team challenges, collective worship, and warm fellowship strengthened their spirits, restored their motivation, and filled them with God’s love for the months ahead.
We are deeply grateful to every participant, mentor, volunteer, and organizer who made this camp possible — and above all, to God, who was at the very center of it all.
