The power of prayer and small victories
The following is a testimony of a student Nursultan from Kemin Boarding School.
Testimony | December 2025|Kemin Boarding School.
Nursultan has been studying at our school since the fourth grade. He has cerebral palsy, and at first it was difficult for him to walk. While his classmates played, he often sat on the bench, watching from the side. But the children surrounded him with care and support from the very beginning.
At first the adults, and later his classmates themselves, began to pray for him. Over time, Nursultan became more confident in his walking and even started to run little by little. His progress has inspired the whole class.
During the morning prayer time, when the students pray for one another and for their families, Nursultan also began to speak to God. He now prays for his grandmother, asking God to heal her hand after she burned it with hot oil.
He continues to grow stronger — walking more confidently and even trying to play ball with the other boys. Not everything comes easily, but he believes that the Lord will continue to help him, giving him strength and hope.
Nursultan’s story is a powerful reminder of how care, support, and love can transform a child’s life.
