Saikal`s Story:

Saikal attends a boarding school, where she receives the care, attention, and structure she needs. She has Down syndrome and developmental delays; her older brother also has Down syndrome. Despite these challenges, Saikal is kind, sociable, and active. She is hardworking and enjoys taking part in school activities, bringing energy and warmth wherever she goes. In her free time, she loves dancing and delights those around her with her cheerful and sincere personality.

Saikal lives in a complete family with her mother, father, older sister, and older brother. The family resides in a small private house where Saikal does not have her own room and shares space with other family members. The house has running water, but the toilet is outside and there is no bathroom; the family uses a bathhouse at relatives’ home. In their rural area, stable employment opportunities are limited, so her parents are currently not formally employed and work in the garden, growing vegetables mainly for their own needs.

With ongoing support, Saikal is able to receive quality education, develop her abilities, and continue growing in a safe, encouraging environment that helps her confidence and joy shine through.
