When God moves, even without us present
The following is a testimony of Lera from Belovodsk school.

Testimony| August 2025| Belovodsk Christian School
My name is Eduard and I`m the Spiritual Coordinator at Belovodsk Christian School. This summer, I wasn’t able to attend the "Build and Shine" camp in person, but my colleagues kept us closely connected by sharing everything that was happening. One story, in particular, touched me deeply — the story of Lera, a sixth-grade girl.
During camp, Lera began thinking seriously about faith for the very first time. According to her leaders, she listened intently, asked sincere questions, and one day — surrounded by her team and mentors — she opened her heart to Jesus. It was a genuine response to God’s call.
When my colleagues told me about it, they added a request: “Please keep an eye out for her when you can. Maybe you’ll have a chance to invite her to church.” But since Lera is only 10 and had just entered sixth grade, we couldn’t invite her directly ourselves. All we could do was pray — sincerely, with the hope that if God had begun something in her heart, He would surely carry it on.
Weeks passed. Then, one evening, I received an unexpected call: it was Lera’s mom. She said they wanted to come to church — no prompting, no reminders. For me, it was a clear and beautiful answer from God.
Since then, Lera has been joyfully attending church services. You can see her faith growing — she listens, participates, and smiles. Every time I see her, I’m reminded: God doesn’t need us to be physically present in order to move. But He gladly invites us to be part of His work — even if it’s just through prayer.
Lera’s story is a reminder that when a seed is planted with God, it will bear fruit. Even if we don’t immediately see growth — He is at work.
Thank you for making stories like this possible through your support and prayers. You are part of this miracle.
