KARA BALTA SCHOOL
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Located in the city of Kara-Balta (with a population of 47,000), the school was founded in 1999 by the “First Child” Ministry. In 2001, it was entrusted to Mercy Christian Charitable Foundation (a.k.a. the MCCF, Mercy Foundation, or the Foundation), founded by Elder Yang Chia Shan. The faculty and staff are kind and passionate about teaching and mentoring children. The school has two fundamental goals: to provide a high-quality education for each student and to spiritually educate students about Christian morality. A modern indoor sports gymnasium were commissioned on February 22, 2021. Children enjoy playing sports and having physical education classes in a comfortable environment.
Through Bible lessons and personal interaction with students, we guide their worldview, such as attitudes toward superstition, the origin of man etc. For many families, our project is the only opportunity to hear biblical truth and to gain a deeper understanding of why people need the church. Many parents and children have commented that there is a special, kind atmosphere. The staff of our school not only get paid, but also receive spiritual food during the daily morning service, which also affects the atmosphere and relationships within the team. When our students perform at city and district events, the organizers and the District Education Department always note the special upbringing and dignified behavior of our school's students.
Repentance and spiritual growth of students and staff.
For the work of the Holy Spirit in our project.
For wisdom in the delivery of God's Word.
For the openness of hearts to the gospel in new teachers and students.
