The following is a testimony from David, GYM's ministry.

My name is David. I am 22 years old. I was born in Kyrgyzstan. When I was a child, my parents took us (me and my brothers and sisters) to Russia. After some time, I came back to Kyrgyzstan to study at IUCA University, which was founded by Elder Yang. My grandmother, who lives in Tokmak city, advised me of the university. I was invited to the GYM almost as soon as I arrived in Kyrgyzstan. The manager of the GYM knows my grandmother really well, and he wanted me to join the team in the GYM. I went, got to know the people, and liked it. I tried to help with the ministry sometimes, but I was not part of the main team yet. I especially liked the thematic meetings where we could speak about different topics (March 8, February 23, February 14, Easter, and Christmas.) I come from a family of believers and I can definitely say that the topics that are raised in the GYM are appropriate not only for non-believers but for believers as well. Because all of the topics I heard there it helped me to stay on the right track, and motivated me to trust in God, try to work hard, and improve myself in different ways.
After 4 years, I graduated. I flew to Russia for six months, but in December 2021, I came back to Kyrgyzstan.
When I arrived, Evgeny offered me to work at the GYM, saying that I could be useful. I thought about it, prayed, and agreed. I have been an official worker in the GYM since January 2022. I teach two clubs-basketball and guitar. I also do all of the work (assisting the other teachers, working with records, and general documentation). I also serve in children's ministry on Sundays.
Working in the GYM has taught me more responsibility and consistency.
I am very happy and grateful to God and Evgeny for inviting me to this work, where I can serve people and grow. I am sure that I will be able to serve many more people with whom I will have the opportunity to interact. The GYM is an amazing platform for ministry and development. Thank God, that Tokmok has such a blessed and wonderful place!
